We were there. So were you. (A Sneak Peek!)

As mentioned in the previous post, we're representing Kunstallations at the DIAC's "I AM HERE." show at the Southside on Lamar this weekend.

With one half of team Kunst on the road, we wanted to create an interactive spectacle of sorts that allowed show-goers and the Kunstallationists alike to all "be there" together.

Last night, you may have been asked to answer the question "Are you here?" on camera. If you were kind enough to entertain the inquiry, you'll be in this montage or an extended version tomorrow.

Look for a long-haired guy wielding a video camera tonight for two reasons:

1. You'll get your face all up on these internets in a multimedia homage to "I Am Here."
2. You'll get a voucher for some free or half off a tasty beverage at Dunn Bros!

See you "here" tonight!

We Are Here.

That's right. We're reppin' the Kunstallationist movement and the walls of Dunn Bros. Coffee this weekend at the DIAC's I Am Here show at the Southside on Lamar. Both Cara Michelle Smith and Andrew Tolentino will have work all up on them walls.

Check out thediac.org for more info.

Cara Michelle Smith sells 2!

Co-Kunstallationist, Cara Michelle Smith recently sold 2 pinhole photographs entitled "Chinese Takeout #1" and "Chinese Takeout #2" on her home field! She's out visiting some certain North American Natural wonders right now, but she'll be back soon enough, kicking more ass and taking more names!

These pieces will only be around until Wednesday evening when the buyer is set to pick it up, so make sure to check it out if you haven't had the pleasure.

kunst artist dan perez sells a piece!

Dallas artist, Daniel Perez recently sold a piece at the Kunstallations HQ at Dunn Bros. Coffee in Addison, Texas. Here he is with the lucky buyer.

The buyer, who shall remain nameless happened to be doing some business at the shop when he noticed Dan's work entitled "The Depths We Will Go," featuring imagery from an Aquaman comic book.

The next time you need a place to soak up some free WiFi, grab a tasty beverage and experience some great local art, swing on by Dunn Bros. Coffee in Addison.

It's coffee shop art that ISN'T shit!
